The project, which is a collaboration with SOS Children, provides medical support needed in unstable times.
SOS Children’s Villages support communities in improving health infrastructure and medical services so that all children have sufficient access to health care. In undevelopped areas we run medical centres that specialize in the care of women and children to tackle preventable childhood diseases and illnesses that can compromise family stability. These medical centres also provide maternal health care and first-aid facilities in case of an accident.

Furthermore the medical centres are equipped with delivery rooms and offer preventive examinations, als well as advice on hygiene and implementing HIV education. They are also helping young people in teaching them about HIV, prevention strategies and general life skills.
Philia Foundation’s support to date has covered maintenance and repair costs, medical and transportation expenses and other running costs and overheads.
